First of all, in BitLife, you could marry the love of your life, have kids, and pick up a good education along the way. Or you could play choices that horrify your parents? You could fall into a life of crime, fall in love or go for adventures, start prison fights, and smuggle bags, choose the story of your life. The player will discover how bit by bit life choices can add up to determine your success in life. Interactive story games have been around for years. But this is the first text life simulator to truly mix up and simulate life the way you want it.
What are BitLife Ribbons?
Ribbons are handed out when you complete a full life in the game. The ribbon is visible over your gravestone once you’ve completed life, and you can always check which ones you’ve earned in the main menu under the cemetery. There are currently 30 that you can earn, and they will get you engaged in several different activities and jobs throughout the different lives you will have to live. Some of them are a bit tougher than others to accomplish, but they are fun to collect.
List of Ribbons
There are 30 ribbons that you can earn, here we will list some of them
Academic
You’ll want to focus as much on the school as possible. Study a lot when you enter, go to college, keep studying year after year, graduate from college, go to graduate school, and then go for a job at some school. Go to the library every once in a while to keep up with your intelligence! You don’t have to go for an education-based job, but it is a safer way to do it. Make sure not to go into a position that will make you earn too much money.
Addict
For this one, you are going to need to gamble and bet for victory. Do that until you get an addiction for each. If you are offered any drugs, be sure to take them up on that offer! Make sure not to gain too much money gambling or you might get a ribbon you didn’t want!
Cunning
To obtain the cunning ribbon, you will have to commit a crime and get sent to prison. First, you’ll need to find out how much a gender change operation is in your country. Make enough money to cover that, and then commit the crime, then you need to successfully escape from jail! After that, you will need to have gender change surgery. Once you’ve done that, you can emigrate to another country to make it harder for you to be caught. It doesn’t always work, but you can still get the ribbon, you just need to not get caught again. Live your life until the end and you should get the Cunning ribbon.
Family Guy
Start as a male, and hopefully be born into a small family. Get married and have at least a couple of children. Make sure to keep them happy throughout your life. Make sure not to earn too much money, otherwise, you can easily get another ribbon.
Famous
Everyone wants to be famous, It’s time to find yourself a job in the entertainment industry. You can be an actor or go down a path that contains a lot more risk. You can also gain this ribbon by posting a lot on social media and gaining a big follower count.
Hero
To become a hero you’ll need to take up a profession like a doctor, nurse, or join the army. You’ll need to make sure not to engage in any fights, but also don’t make too much cash and get the wrong ribbon!
High Roller
To get this ribbon you will have to make a lot of cash at the start itself. You’ll need all that cash to make some huge bets. Head to either the casino or the racetrack. Blackjack is relatively simple to play and win. The racetrack is pure luck, but at cards, you can at least influence the outcome. Bet big money at the tables, and attempt to rack up over a million dollars in winnings. Once you have done so, stop making money so you don’t accidentally get the Rich ribbon that you get after earning 5 million dollars.
Jailbird
The jailbird ribbon is for players who stay the majority of their life in prison and pass away there. When you get to prison, you will want to escape. You need to go in and out of prison at least 5 times. Once done, you can just go back to prison for the final time and just keep aging up until you die. Don’t escape too many times or you could get the Houdini ribbon instead!
Successful
This one is all about having a good life, but not that great of a life. Get married, have some kids, get a decent job, but don’t make too much money and run into some of the money based ribbons.
