Amazon Prime members to get in-game benefits for select mobile games

If you live in India and have an Amazon Prime subscription, then we have some good news for you. Now you’ll have access to several in-game benefits such as content, upgrades and currency in loads of mobile games. These games include Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Mafia City, World Cricket Championship, Black Desert Mobile, Words with Friends 2 and many others. Amazon has also partnered up with many game developers to offer Prime-only tournaments for Indian Prime subscribers.
In a statement from the Director & Head of Prime, Amazon India, it was mentioned that Amazon will continue to add more games to their list and customers can look forward more refreshment in content. To avail these benefits, all you need to do is download any of the listed games where you’ll see a banner mentioning benefits for Amazon Prime members. Lenovo’s first gaming phone’s video leaked

Lenovo has been the talking point for a while among gamers due to their upcoming gaming phone, the Lenovo Legion. Gaming enthusiasts have been anticipating the release of this phone and recently they were given a glimpse of what is to come. Apparently, there is a leaked video of the Lenovo Legion and some more information of the specs. This material has been provided by a “trusted anonymous” source and there is no guarantee about the credibility of this information.

Nonetheless, the word on the street is that this indeed could be true information. From the looks of it, the phone looks brilliant and features the iconic Y-shaped design of Legion products. The specs that have been released are impressive as well. Some of these specs are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865, with FS 3.0 internal storage, LPDDR5 RAM, 5000 mAh battery, 2340 x 1080 screen resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have a dual rear camera with 64MP and a 16MP wide-angle shooter, while the front camera is 20MP.

Google Stadia controller to finally gets wireless support for PC games

The famous Google Stadia controller will now finally support wireless function for Computers. Earlier, gamers needed to physically connect their Stadia controller to their laptops or desktops via USB cables, but that’s not the case anymore. In a recent statement by the company, gamers will now be able to connect their Stadia controllers via Wifi network, eliminating the need for a C-type USB cable. 

Google has also rolled out an update that will let you capture screenshots and video clips on an Android device. The Google Stadia is compatible with multiple devices including Android, Chromecast and PC, however, wireless connectivity was not present in case of PC. Many gamers feel that this should’ve been done long ago. 

Google brings back Doodle games to help you during Lockdown

Companies are doing whatever they can to make their customers get through the quarantine period. One of these companies is Google and they are bringing back one of their most popular initiatives known as the Doodle games. They are currently running a ‘Stay and Play at Home with Popular Past Google Doodles’ campaign under which they are relaunching some of their most popular Doodle games of the past.

Some of these games include Coding Carrots, Cricket, Fischinger, Rockmore, Garden Gnome, Loteria, Halloween 2016 and Hip-Hop. To play the game, all you need to do is click on the Doodle on the Google home page and you’ll be redirected to the game page. 

Garena launches Booyah, a dedicated app for gaming videos

Garena, a popular online gaming company from Singapore, has launched a dedicated app for gaming videos in India. This app is called Booyah and is available on Playstore and the Apple AppStore. The app has been created to bring the gaming community together and give them a platform where they can interact and share content with like-minded people. Users will also have access to many in-game benefits and also have a chance to earn real money.

Booyah will be loaded with impressive features to attract the audience. Already many of the popular Indian game streamers have joined the app and many more are likely to follow suit. Some of the features include live streaming on several platforms, upload videos, play with streamers and Booyah events. Free Fire gamers can also link their account to Booyah and automatically generate each match’s highlights.

PUBG Mobile India Series 2020 registrations are now open

PUBG Mobile players have all the reasons to be excited amidst this lockdown period as PUBG Corp. and Tencent Games have opened registrations for their PUBG Mobile India Series 2020. This year’s PUBG Mobile India Series will have a prize pool of a whopping 50 lakhs rupees. Registration began on May 6th and will continue till May 17. Until now, the date of the grand finale has not been announced. 

The tournament will be held in phases and the first phase is the qualifying stage. After that, a total of 256 teams will go toe to toe with one another, and out of these 256, 8 will be direct invitees. Cash prizes will be awarded to top 16 teams, while the winning team will get ₹20 lakhs, the runner up will get ₹5 lakhs and the third team will get ₹3 lakhs.
