Microsoft is set to release its brand new gaming console, the XBOX Series X by the end of this year. There has been a lot of speculation and rumours regarding this console and the gaming community is growing restless by the minute. Microsoft usually announces any updates in the E3 event in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they could not host the event this year. Instead, they hosted a live stream and made a bunch of announcements in that.

Among the announcements, they also named some of the iconic games that you would be able to play on your XBOX Series X. They pointed out the games that will be developed by third-party developers and there were many interesting names. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the most trendy name in the gaming world right now and it is one of the titles that you’ll be able to enjoy. There were many other massive names that gamers are anticipating all over the world. Watch Dogs Legion, Call of Duty 2020, Cyberpunk 2077, Gods & Monsters and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum are some of them. Other popular titles include the mystery-horror game The Medium, the racing game Dirt 5 and a survival game Second Extinction, where players need to fight mutated dinosaurs.

XBOX Series X: Overview

XBOX Series X was announced in 2019 by Microsoft and is their upcoming console which they will release by the end of 2020. Microsoft that the Series X will have refined hardware for higher frame rate and screen resolution. This will provide you with uber-cool gaming experience. For CPU, it has the Custom 3.8 GHz AMD 8-core Zen 2 and 16 GB GDDR6 SDRAM. It also has a Custom 1.825 GHz AMD Radeon RDNA 2 architecture which can deliver a display of 8K. For storage, the XBOX Series X has 1 TB Custom NVMe SSD with a raw input/output throughput of 2.4GB/s.
